"In 1979, Michael D. Sapp Sr. and Antoinette (Candye) Sapp founded Paws With A Cause, initially named Ears for the Deaf®. PAWS began when Mike agreed to help a friend. Marty Jansen and his wife, Dianne, are both deaf and had just adopted a young deaf child. Their hope was that Mike could train their Cairn Terrier CRYSTAL to alert them to important sounds such as their baby crying. Mike agreed and soon other deaf and hard of hearing people approached Mike and asked if they could have dogs trained as well."

What started out as friendly gesture, PAWS has grown into a national organization that has impacted the lives of thousands of people. Because of Mike and Candye’s vision and the entire Staff's hard work, PAWS enhances the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities across the country through custom-trained PAWS Assistance Dogs."

AFSP raises awareness, funds scientific research and provides resources and aid to those affected by suicide.  They fund research to improve interventions, train clinicians in suicide prevention, and advocate for policy that will save lives.

With community effort, they are able to encourage schools, workplaces, and bring so many together to walk together to make mental health a priority. Whether you’ve lost someone or are struggling with suicidal thinking—you are not alone.  AFSP brings people who have been affected by suicide out of the darkness and gives them opportunities to help others.

There are AFSP chapters across the United States.

In supporting Shriners Hospital for Children please join us as we remember and celebrate George Michael's unconditional love and support of all children.

George believed that no child be left behind and given the opportunity and tools for a better life. His passion and belief in giving back were evident through, helping families of terminally ill children,  appreciation of those who help others, the list is endless... anonymity by choice predominantly throughout his life.

We all play a part in this mission...It's your choice to share your charity with these two amazing organizations that are giving children the best chance of a wonderful life with Hope & Compassion.

George was very honest about his bouts with depression and therefore was very supportive of eliminating the stigma of mental illness.

ReThink helps people affected by mental illness by challenging attitudes and impacting lives. They support over 60,000 people every year across the UK to work through crises, live independently and realize they are not alone. They provide expert advice and information to anyone affected by mental health issues. They stand on eliminating the stigma of mental illness with clear, relevant information related to treatment and care,  benefits and employment rights.  ReThink is the first mental health charity to obtain the Information Standard for trusted and relevant information.

George's unconditional compassion for supporting HIV/AIDS-related entities was a tremendous part of his life, not only because it personally related to his life, but for his selflessness when it came to being there to help support the cause whenever and wherever he could.  We also believe that kindness must always be remembered and shared. GMLP, Inc. in unity with others will never forget George's passionate caring for others.

  • To end the transmission of HIV in the UK.

  • To empower and support people living with HIV to lead healthy lives.

  • To amplify the voices of those affected by HIV across public and political arenas to eradicate stigma and discrimination.

  • To enable people to enjoy good sexual health.

George also often thought of THT and kindly donate gifts that were used to raise vital funds to help support people living with HIV through the charity. Along with other charities, charity, they received the royalties from a duet Michael recorded with Elton John in 1991 of John's hit "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me".

Mayhew is an animal welfare charity working to improve life for dogs, cats and the people in the community – at home in London and internationally.

Community support projects range from controlling feral populations to rescuing abandoned animals. They also recognize that animal welfare issues and social welfare issues are linked. They work to protect the vital bond vulnerable people, the elderly, the homeless and those suffering from mental health issues have with their animals. GMLP creates Bundles of Hope with items such as jackets, solar leases etc.

In memory of George and his compassionate heart that was filled with love for all animals near and far, our Team was so happy to connect and support Old Friends Senior dogs.

These amazing Senior dogs, especially those with medical problems or disabilities, face a much greater chance of euthanasia at shelters than younger dogs because it is difficult to find adopters for them due to their shorter additional life expectancy and unknown veterinary costs.

GMLP will provide Bundles of Hope for everyday necessities for those Seniors living their golden years at the sanctuary.

Catastrophic fires, the worst drought in history with record high temperatures, the loss of animal life has taking a tragic toll. GMLP has committed to support rescue efforts in protecting the wildlife left and create safe livable habitats for all.

We can together make a difference in supporting rescue efforts.
